Magna House is rated ‘Good’ again
25th January 2025
We are pleased to announce that following a thorough and detailed inspection conducted by the Care Quality Commission last year, Magna House has successfully retained its commendable ‘Good’ rating.
This recent inspection was completed using the CQC’s new and updated approach to assessment, known as the Single Assessment Framework. The dedicated CQC team carried out an on-site assessment on the 9th and 12th July. Importantly, the hospital was not informed beforehand that an assessment was going to take place, ensuring an impartial evaluation of the services provided. At the conclusion of this comprehensive assessment, they rated the overall service as good.
The Hospital Director, Lyndsey Purdie, expressed her delight with the results of the inspection and conveyed that she was very proud of the entire team, which includes doctors, nurses, care workers, patient safety officers, as well as administrative, housekeeping, catering and maintenance staff.
